Price methodology

Prices last updated: October 6, 2026

Price sources

We use each provider's official pay-as-you-go list prices, taken from its pricing pages and official pricing APIs. We do not use negotiated prices or private discounts.

Currency and VAT

Prices published in US dollars are converted to Saudi riyals at a fixed rate (USD 1 = SAR 3.75), and 15% VAT is added; you can hide it with the “Include VAT” switch. For prices published in riyals including VAT, we derive the price before VAT.

Servers

A server's monthly price is its hourly price multiplied by 730 hours, on Linux, without other operating-system license costs. We compare servers in three sizes: 2 vCPU and 8 GB, 4 vCPU and 16 GB, and 8 vCPU and 32 GB, and we map Oracle OCPUs to the equivalent number of vCPUs.

Storage

We show the monthly price of 1 TB (1,024 GB) of block and object storage, and disk performance (IOPS and throughput) as published by the provider for a disk of that size.

Outbound data

We price 1 TB of outbound data transfer to the internet per month using the published tiers, including any free allowance.

Virtual data center

We estimate the cost of the total capacity from pay-as-you-go prices: Oracle prices processors and memory separately; for other providers we use the next larger available capacity built from servers with 4 GB per vCPU. Actual capacity packages from the provider may be priced differently.

Regions and classification

We mark regions inside the Kingdom and show some regions outside it for comparison only, with the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) registration class as declared by the provider.

Ranking and neutrality

Results are ranked by total price alone, the table shows each provider's lowest price first, and the site has no paid placements.

Limits of the estimate

Prices are indicative and updated periodically. The final price is the one in the provider's formal quote, and may change with discounts or commitment terms.
